The Superbowl is ONE WEEK AWAY and our favorite team is playing<\/strong>. Since we\u2019re hunkered down with the kids that day, I\u2019m going a little \u201cextra\u201d to show them that some Sundays are actually a bit more\u2026 Super. With a kid-friendly Superbowl Party!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While we can\u2019t actually invite you all to watch the big game with us here at Charlotte House<\/strong>, we\u2019re sharing all the good stuff we\u2019re making and setting up to celebrate our favorite team, so you can amp up the enjoyment at your house, too  \ud83e\udd85<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since some of the kids have an early bedtime and are too little to really watch the game, I came up with a few fun things for them all to do together during the day to get in the Superbowl mood. We\u2019ll decorate<\/strong><\/a> and color<\/strong><\/a>, and get everyone\u2019s name on the Football Pool Board<\/strong><\/a> for the chance to win a fun prize (even if they\u2019re asleep during the game!). We’re shooting for a kid-friendly Superbowl Party even the adults will love<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m also going to make another round of the Carrot Cake Muffins<\/strong><\/a> that have brought us good luck during the playoffs, which may or may not have to do with the amazing candy football sprinkles<\/strong><\/a> we\u2019ve been using.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And just for the adults, I also put together a special\u00a0Green Bloody Mary\/Maria<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0recipe that’s perfect for a football Sunday or even St. Patrick’s Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether you know the Eagles fight song by heart or are in your Just-Here-For-The-Commercials Era, it\u2019s the perfect excuse to be a little extra and make next Sunday fun for fun\u2019s sake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because who doesn’t need a little more fun these days?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
